Here it is, the first progress pic! Yesterday I got the fabric cut out, today I started putting the outer pieces together, and tomorrow I will work on the dress form to make it fit to my body. I have large hips/butt, so I tend to start with the higher size pattern (size 16 hips, size 12 boobs according to Simplicity) and then shape it down so it will fit right. Progress pics will be boring for a bit, as the base of this costume is pretty much all black.
