You know, one of these days I’ll have an update before midnight. Just a quick list for now, probably won’t get anything done tomorrow (Tues) seeing as I’ll be volunteering all day. That is fine, considering Wednesday will be my super-productive day :)
Anyway, what done: hook-and-eyes sewn in, cut out lower sleeves, tested paint on some cloth, attached the upper sleeves to the bodice, and tested the method I’m going to use for the eyelets on the bodice.
So I have gotten a few things done, but not enough to post a picture ^^; Got the darts of bodice part of the shirt pinned by my friend yesterday after spending the day volunteering then going to Disneyland for uh… research, yeah that’s it, research.
Today I’ve just been down and catching up on sleep, so no progress. Bleh. Hopefully I won’t be so bleh tomorrow and can get some stuff done :)
Today has been a long day. Got up early, spent 8 hours in the sun at the Cat House, have no energy to do anything tonight. Actually, I did a couple things, but not worth taking pictures of.
-cut out cloth for upper poofy sleeve things for Rapunzel
-trimmed the patterns Gowa helped me make for the main corset-like piece
-planned out the next steps for this project
Yup, that’s it for today. I’m going into a lot of unfamiliar territory for this… well, not entirely unfamiliar, but I don’t have a whole lot of experience with what I’m going to do. I can’t even type proper sentences right now. Definitely more progress tomorrow though :)
So I’m feeling lazy today (actually, I have real-life stuff to work on and haven’t played TF2 in a bit), so instead of posting something art related, I post a link to this awesome Tangled blog that has movie spoilers (and spoiler art!) and a sneak peak of the face characters that will be wandering the parks.
Also, I bought my Pascal Chameleon plush from the Disney store online. Progress!
Sitting in the back of what felt like a large car with a boy my age. It was snowing outside, and we were sitting on a blanket. I could see my dad shoveling the driveway. I think I was being picked up to go to daycare, because this is when we still lived in New York. Couldn’t have been more than 3-4 years old.
